*Important Notice for Safe Sanctuary 101 Participants

You are asked to purchase the book Safe Sanctuaries: Reducing the Risk of Abuse in the Church for Children and Youth, by Joy Thornburg Melton, 2008 Discipleship Resources. This is available from Cokesbury or Amazon. Amazon usually has lower-priced pre-owned copies.

NOTE: There is a Safe Spaces Refresher course available online for those people who have already had the full day 101 courses. It is not on CongregationU like last year. It is located on the Safe Spaces Ministry/courses page at TWKUMC.org. However, people who still need the full-day training will not get credit for the two other courses listed, BaSE 101 and Safe Sanctuary 101, unless they register through Eventbrite and attend the April 23-24 workshops.
