Clergy in the legacy Tennessee and Memphis conferences are invited to “The Art of Well Being Coaching Cohorts”

September 28, 2021 Message from the Bishop’s Office

It has certainly been a tiring and difficult season for our world, one that has gone on for a long time, and the task of ministry has been no exception to that.

The Art of Well Being Coaching Cohorts will provide experiences to learn about and work with models of self-care, self-awareness, personal and professional well being, and more. Bishop McAlilly believes strongly in the benefit of this work and wants to make sure it is available and well known among all of our leaders, especially now.

A cohort began last week, but it is not too late to join them! You must sign up THIS week, however, to be part of the Fall 2021 cohort. Please feel free to invite lay ministry leaders who may appreciate intentional time to work on their wellbeing.

Please click the registration link below to sign up for the Fall 2021 cohort.

There is a cost associated, and the Memphis Conference Board of Ordained Ministry is offering to help pay that cost for our licensed and ordained clergy. (They will pay 75% of the cost until they have used all funds allocated for this purpose.) To access these savings, use this discount code at checkout: TWK21. We want this resource to be available and helpful to you!

For questions about the coaching, contact Rev. Dr. Vona Wilson at vona.wilson@tnumc.org.

There will be more information soon about the cohort beginning in January 2022.
