DESCRIPTION:Ministerial Fellowship Annual Meeting October 16 at Cedarcrest Camp \nThe Ministerial Fellowship of the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference will hold its annual meeting in person on October 16 at Cedar Crest Camp. Having had our last several meetings virtually\, we thought we would enjoy a day of visiting and seeing one another. Lunch will be provided by the staff at noon\, and the meeting will follow lunch. We will have access to the dining room from 10:00 till 2:00\, so we encourage members to come early to visit with one another and see the property at Cedarcrest! The meal will cost $10.75 per person. Please RSVP to Paul Gardner at pgardner54@bellsouth.net \nOur Fellowship is based on connection and exemplifies the essence of the connectional system. Sometimes we neglect the need to gather in Holy Conferencing\, simply to be together and to renew the connection we have had with one another. This will be the first in person meeting of the Fellowship since our merger\, so I am looking to see members from both sides of the river! \nThe agenda will be electing a new slate of officers to lead us into the next decade. The celebration will host one of our own\, The Reverend Dr. Kennard Murray as the guest preacher. The John Wesley Gospel Chorus will provide inspirational music as we reflect our theme: “Working Together on One Accord!”\, from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12. All are invited to wear the homecoming celebration colors\, navy blue\, gold\, and white. During the service a number of honors will be presented including acknowledgement of our 25+ year members\, 50+ members\, and of members selected as Ring of Honor recipients. This special recognition is for persons who have demonstrated unwavering commitment\, visionary leadership\, and unselfish contributions to the growth and development of the church and the ministry of making disciples of Jesus Christ. A fellowship meal will be served following worship\, in the Sweat Fellowship Hall. This will be a celebration of powerful preaching\, magnifying worship\, and Holy Spirit inspired praise.
