SUMMARY:Online Lay Servant Training Provided by the Red River District
DESCRIPTION:The Red River District will offer Basic and Advanced Lay Servant Training during May\, 2024.  These courses will be offered via Zoom and are available to laity who are members of a United Methodist Church\, especially those in the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference.  We also welcome our supply pastors and CLMs to join in this training.  \n  \nTo register\, contact: Bruce Myers at myersb@apsu.edu or 931-206-2562 \nEach course meets four times\, once each weekend for four weekends. Class length is 2 hours-2.5 hours.  There is no cost other than the price of the textbook.  A link to order the book will be provided with registration. \n  \nNote:  Class dates and times vary.  Check the schedule carefully.  Each student is expected to attend all four weekends. \n  \nCourse:   Preaching– Advanced Course \n  \nDates:   May 4\, 11\, 18\, 25 (all class meetings required) \n  \nTime: 9:00-11:30 AM (Saturday mornings) \n  \nInstructor: Rev.
