Participants will explore how modern worship can flourish within a Wesleyan theological framework\, discovering creative ways to integrate contemporary music\, liturgy\, and technology while honoring the richness of Methodist heritage.\nThis hands-on conference features plenary sessions\, shared worship experiences\, and breakout workshops focused on foundational worship leadership skills\, inclusivity\, and creativity. DESCRIPTION:This retreat is designed for 3rd through 6th graders to get out of the typical routine and into God’s creation. We hope to challenge not only every student\, but the group as a whole. If so\, it will likely only be available to those who sign up. \nHow do we create worship spaces where all people can encounter God with dignity\, safety\, and belonging? Join us on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026\, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Central Time) for Widening the Table: Planning LGBTQ+ Inclusive\, Trauma-Informed Worship\, an interactive Zoom workshop designed for clergy\, worship leaders\, musicians\, liturgists\, and lay leaders. \nTogether\, we will explore the theology of inclusion\, the impact of trauma on worship experiences\, and practical tools for creating services that are welcoming\, affirming\, and deeply rooted in Christian faith. Participants will leave with resources\, language guides\, planning frameworks\, and worship templates they can immediately begin using in their local church. \nDesigned and hosted by the TWK Committee on LGBTQ+ Inclusion\, and facilitated by Rev. Timothy Holton-Overcast\, Rev. Dr. Chris Haynes\, and Rev.
