El movimiento din\u00e1mico del Esp\u00edritu Santo se est\u00e1 revelando en la obra que nos rodea. Recientemente, nuestra conferencia celebr\u00f3 un <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twkumc.org\/es\/news\/twk-leaders-gather-for-visioning-retreat-at-cedar-crest\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">retiro<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en el campamento Cedar Crest para el liderazgo voluntario de la conferencia. Este d\u00eda fue un testimonio de nuestro compromiso colectivo de seguir la nueva visi\u00f3n del Esp\u00edritu Santo para un discipulado din\u00e1mico y fiel en nuestro contexto.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nuestro reci\u00e9n lanzado Equipo de Fe e Innovaci\u00f3n se centra en la colaboraci\u00f3n intencional de subgrupos con el compromiso de desarrollar congregaciones pr\u00f3speras, l\u00edderes innovadores y prestar atenci\u00f3n a las formas en que el Esp\u00edritu est\u00e1 provocando nuevas maneras de estar juntos en la misi\u00f3n. Creemos que Dios nos est\u00e1 dando lo que necesitamos para liderar en esta nueva temporada de la UMC.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estamos impacientes por ver lo que Dios est\u00e1 haciendo en nosotros y a trav\u00e9s de nosotros. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twkumc.org\/es\/news\/hope-amid-disaffiliations\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como dijimos antes de la sesi\u00f3n especial de mayo<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por eso decimos ahora: tenemos esperanza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En la sesi\u00f3n especial convocada para el 13 de noviembre de la Conferencia 2023 de Tennessee-Western Kentucky, habr\u00e1 <\/span><b>Se estudia la desafiliaci\u00f3n de 128 iglesias<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de la UMC. En <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twkumc.org\/es\/consent-agenda-for-november-13-2023-special-session\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">orden del d\u00eda consensuado de la sesi\u00f3n extraordinaria de noviembre<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ya est\u00e1 disponible para su revisi\u00f3n. He aqu\u00ed algunas cifras a tener en cuenta:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El 90% ten\u00eda menos de 40 personas presentes en la votaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nueve iglesias contaban con 40-85 personas presentes en la votaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tres iglesias contaban con m\u00e1s de 100 personas presentes en la votaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estas iglesias representan alrededor del cinco por ciento de las profesiones de fe en nuestra conferencia el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuatro de estas iglesias cuentan con 100 o m\u00e1s asistentes semanales al culto.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estas 128 iglesias representan alrededor del cinco por ciento de las donaciones previstas (basadas en los compromisos de conexi\u00f3n de 2022); combinadas con las iglesias que se desafiliaron en mayo, el n\u00famero total de iglesias que se desafilian de nuestra conferencia representa menos del 15 por ciento de los compromisos de conexi\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevineumc.church\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Vi\u00f1a UMC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> trabaja activamente con personas desplazadas de sus antiguas iglesias para crear hermosas expresiones de comunidades de fe centradas en Cristo en un contexto h\u00edbrido. Con The Vine UMC, las personas pueden encontrar una conexi\u00f3n inmediata con otros que buscan un hogar dentro de la Iglesia Metodista Unida. The Vine UMC enfatiza nuestra uni\u00f3n como injertados en el cuerpo de Jesucristo, la Vid Verdadera (Juan 15:1). Este movimiento est\u00e1 ganando impulso, y sus l\u00edderes est\u00e1n entusiasmados por conectarse con m\u00e1s personas que buscan activamente ser fieles a Cristo en la Iglesia Metodista Unida.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunas iglesias celebraron votaciones y permanecer\u00e1n en la CMU, pero se est\u00e1n transformando en un nuevo contexto resultante de las conversaciones, votaciones y acciones de desafiliaci\u00f3n.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con los fondos aprobados en la Conferencia Anual TWK de 2023, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twkumc.org\/es\/stay-umc-2\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">un equipo<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">est\u00e1 disponible para escuchar y ayudar a los l\u00edderes congregacionales de esas iglesias a discernir y abordar las necesidades emocionales, espirituales, estrat\u00e9gicas y financieras actuales.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> El equipo ya est\u00e1 en conversaciones con numerosas comunidades eclesi\u00e1sticas, y est\u00e1n deseosos de ayudar a otros afectados por la desafiliaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mirando hacia el futuro, nuestra conferencia est\u00e1 llena de esperanza.
