{"id":41691,"date":"2026-02-25T21:21:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T03:21:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/twkumc.org\/?p=41691"},"modified":"2026-02-25T21:21:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T03:21:31","slug":"a-response-to-the-tn-house-bill-1473-from-twk-church-society","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/twkumc.org\/es\/church-and-society\/a-response-to-the-tn-house-bill-1473-from-twk-church-society\/","title":{"rendered":"Respuesta al proyecto de ley 1473 de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes de Tennessee por parte de TWK Iglesia y Sociedad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Como Junta de Iglesia y Sociedad de la TWK UMC, queremos hablar sobre lo que est\u00e1 sucediendo actualmente en Tennessee con verdad, gracia y claridad, para que nuestros hermanos y hermanas LGBTQ+ sepan que son vistos, apoyados y que no est\u00e1n solos en esto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el \u00e1mbito legislativo, el proyecto de ley 1473 de Tennessee, patrocinado por el representante Gino Bulso, fue aprobado por la C\u00e1mara de Diputados de Tennessee. El proyecto de ley establece que los ciudadanos y las organizaciones privadas no est\u00e1n legalmente obligados a reconocer los matrimonios entre personas del mismo sexo y no ser\u00e1n sancionados por negarse a hacerlo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Existe una medida complementaria en el Senado, el proyecto de ley del Senado 1746, patrocinado por la senadora Janice Bowling, que tiene el mismo texto y la misma intenci\u00f3n. Ese proyecto de ley a\u00fan no ha sido debatido ni aprobado en la comisi\u00f3n del Senado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 la buena noticia y la que nos da tranquilidad en todo esto: un proyecto de ley no puede convertirse en ley en Tennessee a menos que tanto la C\u00e1mara de Diputados como el Senado aprueben versiones coincidentes, y luego debe ser firmado por el gobernador. Esto significa que nuestra voz y nuestro testimonio siguen siendo muy importantes en este momento, y a\u00fan hay tiempo para actuar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e1rrafo 3120 del <strong><em>Libro de Resoluciones 2020\/2024 de la Iglesia Metodista Unida<\/em><\/strong> afirma: \u201cLamentamos la forma en que las personas LGBTQ han sido marginadas y heridas por la Iglesia, y la frecuencia con la que los cristianos han guardado silencio ante la injusticia y la discriminaci\u00f3n contra ellas\u201d. Le animamos a que se ponga en contacto con sus representantes electos y les comunique su opini\u00f3n sobre esta legislaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nuestros hermanos y hermanas LGBTQ+ que alguna vez se han sentido invisibles, marginados, empujados a los m\u00e1rgenes, o cuya existencia ha sido cuestionada por la lente de la ley o el debate p\u00fablico, escuchen esto claramente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tu amor es real.<br>Tu matrimonio es real.<br>Tu dignidad y tu lugar en el tapiz de este estado y esta naci\u00f3n son reales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No son abstracciones pol\u00edticas; son seres humanos queridos con nombres, familias, amistades, historias, penas, celebraciones, miedos, risas, valent\u00eda y esperanza. Nada de lo que los define puede reducirse a un punto en un proyecto de ley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Incluso en medio de debates pol\u00edticos que parecen fr\u00edos y distantes, tu experiencia vital es sagrada. Tu existencia es apreciada.
