Fui criado como metodista y por eso soy metodista unido. Cuando era joven, disfrutaba de la escuela dominical, la escuela b\u00edblica de vacaciones, los picnics de la iglesia, junto con los programas de Pascua y Navidad. Me encanta la sensaci\u00f3n de estar en una iglesia conectada, una que ama al Se\u00f1or, ve a todas las personas, celebra la diversidad, sale de las paredes de la iglesia para hacer Disc\u00edpulos para Cristo, una iglesia misional que ayuda a los necesitados a nivel local, estatal, nacional y mundial. Este viaje hacia la Metodolog\u00eda Unida ha sido gratificante por las oportunidades de aprendizaje que me han dado los cursos de laicado y otros cursos ofrecidos a trav\u00e9s de la educaci\u00f3n cristiana. Cuando profundices en esto, sabr\u00e1s que los Metodistas Unidos quieren que amemos al Se\u00f1or y compartamos nuestras creencias sobre Jesucristo. Lo m\u00e1s asombroso de esto es que no forzamos nuestras creencias a los dem\u00e1s. Los Metodistas Unidos entienden la gracia como un don de Dios y creen en la gracia preveniente, justificadora y santificadora. Mi camino de fe se ha visto reforzado por el deseo abrumador de servir a los dem\u00e1s. Mi vida ha cambiado por el deseo de ser un l\u00edder servidor. Por lo tanto, soy feliz siendo Metodista Unida porque la Biblia es la base sobre la que se construye nuestra fe. Somos una iglesia misional con los brazos abiertos. (\u00a1\u00a1Ven y \u00fanete a nosotros!!)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 seguir\u00e9 siendo metodista unido?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sigo siendo metodista unida porque todos son bienvenidos en la casa de Dios. El amor est\u00e1 en el centro de todo lo que hace la iglesia. La Iglesia Metodista Unida no teme debatir cuestiones sociales. Los grupos de Conversaci\u00f3n sobre Raza y Fe que se reunieron en diciembre de 2020 y los talleres Raza y Fe 101 y 102 que tuvieron lugar en 2021 para explorar la teolog\u00eda y el llamado a la justicia racial como personas de fe son ejemplos perfectos de esto. Me gusta que todos sean bienvenidos a comulgar en la mesa de Dios. La UMC nos ense\u00f1a a ser compasivos, misericordiosos, amorosos, fieles, a servir a los dem\u00e1s, y la lista sigue creciendo para m\u00ed. Ense\u00f1amos a nuestros hijos a servir y a ser j\u00f3venes Disc\u00edpulos de Cristo. Estoy de acuerdo con las pr\u00e1cticas Wesleyanas. Creemos que la salvaci\u00f3n es un don de Dios.
