Bailey, Jr: \"Pero el Se\u00f1or dijo a Samuel: 'No tengas en cuenta su aspecto ni la altura de su estatura, porque yo lo he rechazado; porque el Se\u00f1or no ve como ven los mortales; ellos se fijan en la apariencia exterior, pero el Se\u00f1or mira el coraz\u00f3n'\". (I Samuel 16:7 NRSV)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cuando pienso en este verso, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pienso en todos los corazones abiertos<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que han mostrado amor y experimentado el amor de la Iglesia Metodista Unida, durante tantos a\u00f1os.  Me han ense\u00f1ado que nuestras puertas y mentes deben estar abiertas a todos, especialmente a aquellos que est\u00e1n luchando en la vida.  Dios ama a todos, no hay una lista que diga que tienes que cumplir este criterio o aquel, para ser amado y aceptado, o Dios no te amar\u00e1.  Me han ense\u00f1ado que el amor y la esperanza impulsan la fe metodista unida, especialmente para aquellos que otras denominaciones han rechazado.  Aqu\u00ed, en la Iglesia Metodista Unida, todos los hijos de Dios son bienvenidos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A mi abuelo le encantaba juntar las manos, representando con las manos y las palabras: \"\u00a1Aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 la iglesia, aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 el campanario y aqu\u00ed est\u00e1 toda la gente!\".
