In 2010, the Tennessee Conference adopted a policy requiring inclusiveness training in the areas of sexism and racism for all certified candidates and clergy. This seminar is provided by the Tennessee Conference Inclusiveness Committee and provides participants an opportunity to discuss assumptions about diversity while also identifying, creating, and practicing what it means to be an inclusive community. One CEU credit will be awarded to those who complete the seminar.

All clergy under appointment must complete Inclusiveness Seminar Training once per quadrennium. Any clergy who completed Inclusiveness Seminar Training between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2016 must attend any time between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2020.

Multiple opportunities for participation are available, and participants must pre-register in order to attend.
