Innovation Mission Cohort

The Turner Center for church leadership is accepting applications for the second Innovation in Mission Cohort, to begin in October, 2021. This cohort will introduce pastors and key lay persons from five churches to design thinking concepts and explore how churches can become more innovative in their missional disciple-making work.

Due to COVID-19, the cohort will be composed of a series of monthly, three-hour virtual workshops, assigned reading, and monthly leadership coaching by an IMC coach.  Over the course of this cohort, each church will develop and implement an Innovation in Mission Plan applying innovative methods to their missional disciple-making system.

Congregations completing the cohort will receive a microgrant of up to $2,000 to further support their Innovation in Mission Plan.

Who can apply?  Any TWK church which will commit to sending its pastor and two key lay people to the IMC workshops.  There is a $250 registration fee which is due once the church has been accepted into the program.  Scholarships are available for churches of limited financial means.
