St. Luke’s United Methodist Church is seeking a full-time Director of Elementary Ministry to lead the spiritual formation and discipleship of children in Grades 1\u20135 and their families.<\/p>\n
The Director of Elementary Ministry will provide leadership for Sunday and midweek programming, volunteer development, family engagement, Vacation Bible School, special events, and creative large-group ministry experiences in our Treehouse ministry environment. This leader will work closely with the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Next Generation Ministries to create a seamless pathway of discipleship from Preschool through Student Ministry.<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; enjoys building relationships with children and families; and has experience recruiting, equipping, and leading volunteers. A heart for discipleship, creativity in ministry, and a commitment to partnering with parents as primary spiritual influencers are essential.<\/p>\n

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Next Generation Ministries.<\/p>\n
United Methodist experience is helpful but not required.<\/p>\n
