April 30 is the deadline to apply for the $2,500 Anita Padgett Memorial Music Scholarship offered by Lone Oak UMC in Paducah, KY. The purpose of the scholarship is to support church music ministry.
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- member of any Methodist Church, including (but not restricted to) UMC, CME, AME;
- of sophomore status or above, including graduate school;
- enrolled full time at a four-year college with a GPA of 2.5 or higher;
- and possess a demonstrated financial need.
Preference will be given to a major or minor in music, music education, or music-related field; or to someone in music ministry.
