Wesley College Foundation, a small 501(c)3 that supports the formation of servant leaders for the church and community in Tanzania, is looking for a part-time book keeper.

The Foundation was founded in 2016 and has been the primary support for Wesley College in Mwanza, Tanzania since its opening in 2017. The foundation is a small shop with a full-time executive director.

The position is remote and perfectly suited for someone looking for a side gig.

The book keeper would use QuickBooks to run a monthly reconciliation of accounts and provide monthly reports to the Executive Director and Board Treasurer.

1. Perform a monthly review of accounts, reconciling entries by the Executive Director and bank statements.
2. Reconcile and balance accounts each month.
3. Maintain basic book keeping standards and formats within QuickBooks.
4. Generate a monthly report for the Executive Director and Board Treasurer.

Job Requirements:
1. 2-3 year’s experience as a book keeper using QuickBooks.
2. Experience with a non-profit or church preferred.
3. Work is remote, but preference will be given for those located in Middle Tennessee

Pay scale $40 an hour, expecting an average of 8 hours a month.
