Job Description

Job Summary
Donelson Heights UMC is in the heart of Donelson and seeks to serve our community. Your primary role will be to provide various avenues of communication within the church and with community partners. You will serve as the point person for office needs and weekly tasks.

Job Responsibilities
Church communication
• Create and maintain up to date social media and website content
• Communicate with the church community through a weekly email and monthly newsletter
• Create weekly worship Slides
• Work with the pastor to meet the needs of the day-to-day administrative tasks within the office.
• Oversee the list of volunteers serving in worship on a monthly basis
• Maintain all church records

Partnerships and communication within the Community
• Maintain communication with community groups using the facility
• Maintain business relationships with vendors within the community

Knowledge and Abilities
Have a spirit of welcome and hospitality
Have experience in managing data systems
Have experience in Google Workspace (presentation, sheets, documents, and forms)
Have experience in maintaining a social media presence

Details
Working Hours: 15 hrs per week
Pay Range: $18.00-22.00 per hour
