Project Bridge’s focus is to eliminate or minimize, the summertime learning loss for struggling students who will be entering or repeating first, second, or third grade, Interns will have the primary focus of nurturing each child’s social/emotional growth and character/faith development. Interns will receive training in order to work together to implement the “Love in a Big World” curriculum for a small group of children assigned to them.

Internship details:
Five-week paid internship program for college students
Encourage & provide opportunities for each child to become a better reader
Learn and gain experience using instructional techniques
Work with volunteers
Connect with students and families
Experience local mission opportunities
Responsible for the teaching the social emotional learning component of the program

In this program, interns gain substantial leadership experiences and further explore how God may be calling them to serve.
