TWK Youth Ministry Transition Team Beginning Its Work

Youth ministry leadership of the newly forming Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference is taking the next steps toward establishing a new thing in youth ministry for the Nashville Episcopal Area of the UMC. The newly established team met for the first time on September 26 & 28 for its QuickStart launch with consultants from Ministry Architects.

At its Quick Start the team formed four working sub-groups:

  1. Clean Up on Aisle One – addressing immediate needs and decisions
  2. Visioning Summit – working with the schedule and components of this January meeting
  3. Calendaring and Budgeting – establishing an 18-month calendar and projecting a 2023 budget
  4. Contact Plan and District Gatherings – engaging with local churches and bringing people together
