Nominations Committee Update: Jan 2026
The opportunity to offer spiritual leadership in the TWK has never been greater. The TWK Nominations Committee is working throughout the year to discover and discern who is being called to add their voice and service to the tables across the TWK.
With a new context and the focus of our shared Discipleship Priorities, we are aligned and moving in the same direction. For whom and what are we looking? We recently shared conversations around the questions below.
Please join us in prayer and paying attention: who is being called for this time in our history and service as the body of Christ on earth?
What are the spiritual characteristics that we need to be on the lookout for right now?
- Real presence
- Steady reliance on God
- Open to the surprises God offers us
- Trusts God’s wisdom for dissolving entanglement
- Willing to lead in disorienting spaces
What else can we be on the lookout for today? What is God inviting us to right now?
- Learning and exemplifying how to hold space for difficult conversations.
- Listening and discerning God’s word to us. God is speaking and tells us what we need to be doing.
- Humility
- Trust
- “You are mine” (Isaiah 43). We can trust God during hard times and help others do the same.
