Ellendale UMC, in Bartlett Tn, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Church Accompanist to provide piano accompaniment during Sunday worship services and select special services throughout the year. This position plays a vital role in enhancing our worship experience and supporting the music ministry of the church.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide piano accompaniment for weekly Sunday worship services.
· Select prelude and postlude music selections for the service
· Accompany music for special services including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve.
Other Contract Opportunities
· Additional contact opportunities available by providing music for weddings and funerals in coordination with the pastor.
Qualifications
· Proficiency in performance and/or piano experience.
· Ability to work collaboratively.
· Experience in improvisation is a plus.
· Previous experience accompanying church services preferred.
