On Saturday, March 14, members and friends of Beech Grove UMC, Whites Creek gathered for a dedication service and blessing for the newly installed Free Little Library. The library was funded by the Gen. Daniel Smiths Rock Castle chapter of DAR and the library was assembled by Boy Scout Troop 200 which meets at Connell Memorial. The dedication service entailed a liturgy, scripture, music, and the dedication and blessing by the pastor Rev. Dr. Rita Hays. The library will serve as an outreach to the community to provide books for individuals of all ages.
