Family Reconciliation Center is a nonprofit hospitality house located in The Nations neighborhood in Nashville. We provide free overnight stays to individuals and families who travel to Nashville to visit incarcerated loved ones in area prisons. Supported through the generosity of individuals, faith communities, and foundations, FRC ensures that visitors can stay in a comfortable and safe environment while they meet with incarcerated family and friends.

We have 5 guest rooms which are typically booked every weekend. We need volunteers to help ‘flip’ the beds. All the supplies are there, we have a washer/dryer, and extra sheet sets, so it would be a perfect volunteer activity for a small group on a weekly basis or monthly in rotation with other groups.

자원 봉사자 업무

Come to the guest house while it’s not occupied – we have a house manager who may or may not be onsite while you’re there (she has a day job). We can give you access and show you where everything is. Ideally, at least 2-3 volunteers would be good on a weekly basis. You would collect the linens from the rooms that have been used, along with any bathroom towels, put them in the washing machine to launder, then there are plenty of sheet sets to re-make the beds for our next guests. If you can stay to wait for the sheets to wash and dry, fold and put in the linen closet, that’s great, but if not, we can work something out.
