The TWK Communications Team for the Tennessee-Western Kentucky (TWK) Conference of The United Methodist Church began meeting regularly in 2019 with members from both the Tennessee Conference and the Memphis Conference. Their mission was to address future communications needs for the newly formed conference.

The current Communications Strategy Team oversees the conference's overall communications strategy and provides recursos y políticas/directrices para equipos de conferencias e iglesias locales.

The team serves in a leadership role, with ministry teams handling communications tasks—e-newsletter, social media, website, photo and videography, and occasional print publications—as well as managing crisis communications, the annual conference, and survey research.
