The TWK Communications Team for the Tennessee-Western Kentucky (TWK) Conference of The United Methodist Church began meeting regularly in 2019 with members from both the Tennessee Conference and the Memphis Conference. The mission was to address future communications needs for the newly forming conference.

The current Communications Strategy Team oversees the overall communications strategy for the conference and provides resources and policies/guidelines for conference teams and local churches.

The team serves in a leadership role with ministry teams handling communications tasks - e-newsletter, social media, website, magazine, and blog - as well as management of crisis communications, the annual conference, and survey research.
