Ms. Vonner is a visionary leader who brings decades of dedication, experience, and passion to her work with United Women in Faith. Appointed CEO in 2023 following a nationwide search, she has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s future—guiding our rebranding, launching new initiatives, and expanding our mission to put love and faith in action for women, children, and youth around the world.
With a career rooted in justice, service, and empowerment, Ms. Vonner has served in various capacities across The United Methodist Church, including her early work as a U.S. missionary and coordinator for Communities of Shalom. She’s a leader with a heart for transformation—deeply grounded in faith, committed to dismantling racism, and passionate about creating sustainable community development.
