Communications Specialist

The mission of Bartlett United Methodist Church is to know Christ and to make Christ known to all people through worship, education, and service, in our community and throughout the world. This mission is only realized as everyone who is a part of the church’s life and ministry participate in its fulfillment with commitment and dedication. Position: Communications Specialist
Designation: Full-time, Salaried
Accountability: Senior Pastor and Staff-Parish Relations Committee
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Description: The communications specialist will provide leadership and direction in forming the communications strategy of the church. They will create, organize, plan, and implement effective communications to both internal and external audiences, aiding ministry leaders and pastors in identifying and conveying the mission and vision of the church. The specialist will be both a creative and strategic leader, designing and implementing systems and social media platforms to reach across generational lines.
