On Saturday, November 15th, UMCOR will host a Connecting Neighbors Ambassador Training from 8:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Denman Building, which is located at 1908 Grand Avenue in Nashville. The goal of this training is to help congregations to prepare for and respond to disasters in their areas. Those who attend will learn how churches can coordinate with their community to respond when disasters strike. Ambassadors will not only help their churches prepare, but can also help other churches to respond. Pastors, members of trustee committees, and anyone else interested in helping prepare churches and communities to respond when disasters occur are invited.
