Prayer Concerns messages about the illness or death of serving and retired TWKUMC clergy and staff and their immediate family members are sent out conference-wide at the end of each week, as needed. This includes all of the requests submitted during the previous week.

Narowetz
Please be in prayer for the family of Marilyn Narowetz, wife of Rev. Louis Narowetz, pastor of Saltillo United Methodist Church in Hardin County.
Mayo
Please be in prayer for the family of Rev. Jerry Hilton Mayo, who died on March 3, 2026. Rev. Mayo began pastoral ministry in 1966 in the Tennessee Conference and served local churches for over 40 years. He also served as Superintendent of the Pulaski District. He was the father of retired elder, Rev. Max Mayo.
Hubbard
Please be in prayer for Rev. Amanda Westmoreland on the death of her mother, Laura Comes Hubbard, who died on February 23, 2026. Rev. Westmoreland serves Millington First UMC in the Metro District.
Roberts
Please be in prayer for Rev. Steve Blackwell and family on the death of his mother, Carol Jean Roberts, who died on February 25, 2026. Rev. Blackwell serves the Santa Fe charge in the Harpeth River District.
Sailors
Please be in prayer for the family of Patricia “Pat” Biggs Sailors, who died on February 18, 2026. Pat faithfully served for more than 30 years as secretary/district administrator of the legacy Pulaski District and Harpeth River District. She also served the legacy Tennessee Annual Conference as a lay delegate and member of the Board of Ordained Ministry, mentoring and supporting countless clergy throughout her years of ministry.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard “Dick” Sailors, who died on February 4, 2026.
Harper
Please be in prayer for the family of Patty Sue Harper, a member of Connell Memorial UMC, who passed away on Feb 11, 2026. She was the widow of Rev. Fred Harper, who served as an elder in the legacy Tennessee Conference, and the mother of Rev. Lisa Harper, who serves as a local pastor at Owens Chapel in the Cumberland River District.
