TWK clergy offered free annual stay at TWK camping and retreat locations for spiritual or family retreat
Beginning in 2026, ministry leaders* who are under appointment in the TWK are eligible to receive two free nights at each of our Camping and Retreat sites – Lakeshore Camping and Retreat Center, Cedar Crest Camp, and Beersheba Springs Assembly. Clergy may enjoy these two free nights individually or with their family (note: “Family” is flexible and does not dictate linear family). After the first two nights, ministry leaders* may extend their stay for $10 per person. Children 5 and under are free. Availability cannot be guaranteed because of guest groups and summer camp taking place.
Programming and on-site meals may be available depending on site location’s calendar, but cannot be guaranteed. An opportunity to pause, rest, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation is absolutely guaranteed.
*Eligibility:
- Commissioned, full or associate clergy members of the Tennessee-
Western Kentucky Conference who are in active appointment; - Local Pastors or Certified Lay Ministers or Supply Pastors who are in active appointment through the Tennessee-Western Kentucky
Conference; - Campus ministers in the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference;
- A Deaconness or Home Missioner of the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference;
- Staff person of the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference
- Clergy under current appointment to a TWK local church or extension ministry while on loan from another annual conference.
This is made possible through a partnership between TWK Camping and Retreat Ministries and the TWK Mental Health and Well-Being Guide Team.
