I was baptized at age nine at Clarks’ Chapel Methodist Church 65 years ago. With the merger of two denominations in 1968 I became a United Methodist. Grace welcoming all as well as the theme “Believe and let believe” are attractive hallmarks of our denomination. United Methodists are thinking, questioning and exploring Christians. Such attributes as these are reasons I will remain United Methodist. I was baptized a Methodist and unless God shows me a better way I intend to be buried a United Methodist.
