Lay Servant Training Opportunities Provided by the Red River District

Basic Course in Lay Servant Ministries 

In Person at Erin UMC
August 2nd and 9th, 2025

9:00 AM-3:30 PM

 

The Red River District will offer a Basic Lay Servant Ministries Course at Erin United Methodist Church.  This course will be offered in person and is available to our laity from the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference. We also welcome our supply pastors to join us.

Each course meets on two consecutive Saturdays in the 9:00 AM-3:30 PM time frame.  The exact schedule will be shared later.

There is no cost other than the price of the textbook.  A link to order the book will be provided with registration.  Members or regular attendees of United Methodist Churches are welcome to attend.

Lunch will be served on both days.  Unforeseen issues could force us to reschedule or alter the format.  Students should monitor course emails carefully.
