Discipleship Ministries and Excellence in Ministry Coaching (EMC3) have partnered to create a Certificate in Discipleship for lay and clergy looking for basic knowledge related to coaching skill fundamentals and discipleship. The materials and trainers approach concepts from a Methodist theological perspective. The certificate is normally $150, but is available at $75 for the first 500 people to register. This is 12 hours of online learning, 6 hours focused on discipleship and 6 hours focused on coaching skills. The goal is for every local church to have a discipleship coach who can work alongside the pastoral team and church leadership to positively impact the culture of discipleship within their context, and aid their congregation to have an effective discipleship system or pathway. Learn more here.
