GOLDEN CROSS Senior Ministries is celebrating its 25th year in ministry this year.  Serving approximately 2200 seniors in twenty-nine affordable independent living and two assisted living communities throughout West TN, Murray KY and Jonesboro AR.  GOLDEN CROSS Senior Ministries mission is to enhance the life of all seniors served by Wesley Living and the support of your congregation has helped to transform lives of senior’s one need at a time. 

There are several exciting happenings coming up this year and we hope that you and your congregation will join us in continuing to care for those who have paved the way before us. 

We are also kicking off “25 Days of Giving “beginning Sunday May 1, 2022 where we are asking donors to make a commitment of $19 per month to GOLDEN CROSS Senior Ministries over the next 25 months.  This can be done through the website www.goldencross.org, direct mail or contacting Kristi Owens at 901-213-1930 or kristi@goldencross.org

100% of all donations made to GOLDEN CROSS Senior Ministries (unless otherwise marked) directly benefit the needs of seniors this much needed ministry faithfully serves.  Donations are never used to cover any operational cost.  Your generosity has helped assist 26 seniors individual needs , 14 of which moved into a Wesley Living community from a homeless situation.  In those cases, GOLDEN CROSS Senior Ministries provides seniors with a “Move In Kit” (everything needed to star over in life to set up a household from dishes and bedding to cleaning supplies and towels.  We can also assist with new basic furniture items, helping to make their transaction a little easier.  GOLDEN CROSS Senior Ministries also provides funding for community recreation and social activities encouraging residents to remain active and engaged. 

Mark your calendars for the 22nd Annual GOLDEN CROSS Golf Classic held at Windyke Country Club in Memphis on Thursday September 8, 2022 with an 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM flight and lunch served in between.  There are numerous sponsorship levels and team slots open with more details to come.
