Fresh Expression: A form of church for our changing culture, established primarily for the benefit of people who are not yet members of any church. It will come into being through principles of listening, service, incarnational mission and making disciples.
There's a movement growing across the United Methodist Church. Churches are connecting with neighbors through shared interests, shared community spaces, and shared meals. Fresh expressions of church are emerging in affinity groups like single moms, poets, refugees, blue grass musicians, and trail hikers. Gatherings are happening in parks, pubs, rivers, hiking trails, and coffee shops. Congregations are finding that church can happen around the dinner table. Join a growing number of churches in our conference who are making new disciples and passing on the traditions of our Wesleyan faith in new and creative ways!
