Job Title: Church Administrator
Time Commitment: Full Time—32-36 hours/week
Salary: $30,000-$32,000/year
Reports to: Senior Pastor
Location: 200 W Jefferson St., Pulaski, TN 38478
FUMC is looking for a hard-working and willing-to-learn candidate who values teamwork and belonging. The ideal candidate is able to stay organized while dealing with multiple projects, have clear written and spoken communication, have a working knowledge of accounting, maintain confidentiality, and have good people skills. Candidate must have good computer skills and be fluent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities:
The Church Administrator is responsible for:
• Managing daily operations of the Church Office
• Maintain office supplies and records
• Pay church bills
• Oversee payroll
• Track and record financial activities
• Post contributions to congregation members accounts
• Work with Senior Pastor and Finance Chair in creating the annual budget
• Coordinate and maintain church calendar and church events
• Oversee church facility security operations
• Create church bulletin and newsletter
• Answer church phone
• Coordinate facility usage for weddings, funerals, and other community events
• Prepare and file reports for Church Conferences and meetings
• Serve as recording secretary for all Finance and Church Council Meetings
