Notes + Cards Memo: The Episcopal office is now collecting notes, letters, and cards if you wish to provide best wishes to Bishop Bill McAlilly as he prepares for retirement. These can be mailed to the Episcopal Office at 304 S. Perimeter Park Dr. Suite 2, Nashville, TN 37211. There will also be a display at Annual Conference where you can bring your cards for Bishop. We will also provide blank cards if you wish to submit them at Annual Conference.

Retirement Video Submissions: We are putting together a special retirement video for Bishop Bill McAlilly, and we would love for you to be a part of it! Bishop McAlilly has been an outstanding leader in The United Methodist Church, and we believe a collective video greeting would be a heartfelt way to express our appreciation. The Episcopal office is now accepting video submissions for Bishop Bill McAlilly’s retirement video. If you wish to participate in this project, please follow the prompts below and email videos to brandi.galbraith@twkumc.org.

Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Have someone shoot/record the video for you.
  2. Use your cellphone, webcam or recording camera. To do this, follow the instructions below:
  • Turn your cellphone or device horizontally/landscape.
  • Stabilize your phone or device with a tripod if possible.
  • Keep it brief and personal – share a fond memory, express gratitude, or send good wishes.
  • Record some place quiet with little to no background noise.
  • Keep it brief (1 minute or less)

The deadline for submission is: May 10, 2024.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Brandi Galbraith at brandi.galbraith@twkumc.org

Can’t record your own video? No problem! A professional crew will be available at the conference office to capture your message on the morning of April 16 at 10 a.m.
